Corey Graves has worked hard to make himself one of the main attractions of Monday Night RAW, as part of the commentary team. For many fans, Graves is one of the reasons to even watch a WWE show. It has been quite a while since he last competed in the ring. In fact, Graves is also open to making his in-ring return.
Corey Graves was an active in-ring star in NXT, where he took part in matches every week. However, he had to retire due to concussions back in 2014. Corey Graves previously confirmed that he is cleared for in-ring competition, but hasn’t made an in-ring return.
In 2016, Corey Graves moved to the main roster as a color commentator and began working for Monday Night RAW, where he continues to be the voice of the red brand for the foreseeable future.
While speaking exclusively to Pop Culture, Corey Graves revealed that he is working once again with NXT and then made it clear that he is open to making a return to the squared circle.
I’ve recently started working with the NXT talent on helping develop characters and things of that nature, and I’ve really enjoyed it thus far… So I’m really looking forward to working with NXT a lot more as the year progresses. I’d like to remind everybody one more time that I have been cleared to compete and I can’t think of a better scenario for me to step back in the ring than alongside my beautiful wife.
It is to be noted that Corey Graves previously said that he has no desire to make an in-ring return. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Graves will actually return to the ring. We’ll have to see if the Savior of Misbehavior ever wrestles again. If anything, it’s nice to know he has that option.
