Cody Rhodes Reveals His Game Plan To Win Against Roman Reigns

The highly anticipated return of Cody Rhodes to WWE at WrestleMania 38 was met with great excitement, and his entrance captivated audiences, cementing his status as a major player in the WWE. The fact that WWE had complete faith in him only added to his rapid rise in popularity. Rhodes is also set to face Roman Reigns, and it seems he has an interesting game plan to beat the Tribal Chief.

Cody Rhodes made a triumphant return to the ring at the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble. as fans immediately became elated after seeing him and then some. Rhodes would end up winning the whole thing as well.

The American Nightmare is set to face off against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Titles at WrestleMania 39. A lot of hype has been built for the match, which many believe Rhodes will win.

While speaking to Ace of BBC Sounds, Cody Rhodes was asked about his game plan for defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Rhodes then went on to explain how he will come prepared for the match.

“I think one of the sobering things about Roman Reigns, is sometimes real life happens, right? You see it in sports all the time, sometimes the better story is defeated by the better competitor, and I think I have to come into this not sweating the individual that is Roman Reigns, the God tier superstar.

I think I have to come into this and I can’t just ride the emotions of Dusty’s son, the title he never got. I can’t ride those emotions, I have to just be the literal best, bell to bell. I just have to come in with more gas in the tank. I have to come in as discipline as possible. I just don’t want to be a casual of that.”

We will have to wait and see whether Rhodes can win the match. If anything, it will certainly be a big match to cap off the second night of WrestleMania 39.
