The much-awaited return of Cody Rhodes to WWE at WrestleMania 38 created a significant buzz among fans. After a long absence from the ring due to injury, Rhodes made a remarkable comeback and quickly re-established himself as a prominent figure in the company. Before returning to WWE, Rhodes was part of the AEW family from the very beginning. That being said, he doesn’t think there is a war between WWE and AEW.

In 2019, Cody Rhodes co-founded All Elite Wrestling, which quickly emerged as a major player in the wrestling industry. He would remain in the company for three years and be one of the top stars there.

In fact, he was present throughout the entire duration of the Wednesday Night Wars, which AEW eventually won. AEW President Tony Khan made headlines when he stated that there is a real war between WWE and AEW.

While speaking on Hot 97 in a chat with Peter Rosenberg, Cody Rhodes talked about departing AEW and returning to WWE. Rhodes then stated that he doesn’t think there is a war between WWE and AEW.

“Again, there’s no war. Especially amongst locker rooms, when you’re putting your boots on girls and boys, we’re bonded. We’re brothers and sisters. There’s no war.”

Cody Rhodes is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see whether Rhodes can win the match. It is likely that the match will take place on Night Two of the event, which will serve as a fitting end for the Show of Shows.
