Rihanna recently made her return to the stage after several years to perform at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. She performed her greatest hits at the show. While one of the highlights of her performance was her notable baby bump, fans reacted negatively to the iconic singer’s performance. A WWE Hall of Famer also chipped in to criticize her performance.
During a recent episode of the CarCast podcast, Bill Goldberg commented on Rihanna’s performance calling it “fricken’ horrible.” He also further said that he was disgusted by her performance at the show.
However, WWE Superstar MVP jumped to Rihanna’s defense and gave his take on Goldberg’s comments regarding her performance. He also brought Donald Trump into the situation.
“I’ve noticed that a lot of the people that find Rhianna offensive or are “disgusted” by her performance at the SB are not at all bothered by a presidential candidate bragging about “grabbing women by the 🐱” or a 1st lady posing nude. 🤔 Interesting…”
MVP followed it up with another tweet stating that he isn’t a fan of Joe Biden either.
“And for the record I have NEVER been a fan of Joe Biden. And I’m no fan of Trump. Imagine that. You can actually dislike BOTH. 🤯”
As of writing this article, Goldberg hasn’t responded to MVP’s comments, nor has he said anything about his comments either. We will have to wait and see if any more wrestlers weigh in on Rihanna’s performance. Until then, stay tuned to Ringside News.
