Carmella has always been an exciting and athletic WWE superstar to watch throughout her entire tenure. The moonwalking and trashing talking star has returned to WWE after the first lengthy hiatus of her career, to once again rise to the top of the women’s division, much like she has done before. Moreover, Carmella recently spoke about her thoughts prior to her return to RAW.
Carmella recently discussed the road to recovery from her injury. After being sidelined since August 2022, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion made a comeback on the February 6 episode of “WWE Raw,” where she defeated Piper Niven, Candice LeRae, and “Michin” Mia Yim to qualify for the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Before that, Carmella also overcame the tragedy of suffering a miscarriage and came out of it well. During her appearance on WWE’s “The Bump”, Carmella revealed that she experienced jitters before her big comeback.
“This is the longest I’ve ever been out,” Carmella said. “I think the longest before was maybe two months, three months. I’ve never been out, never been injured in my 10 years with WWE. So, this is my first time away. So, I’m not gonna lie, I was a little worried. I was nervous coming back, ‘Are people gonna remember me? Am I gonna be the same in the ring? What am I going to do?'”
Carmella claimed to be ready and to have used her time off to make sure she had covered all the bases. Mella seems glad to be back and also stated that she has never felt more at ease in her own skin and clothing.
The RAW superstar further discussed her new ring costume, which, according to her, honors her previous gear while also reflecting her current persona. Carmella claimed that none of her previous clothes could compare to her current one, but she did drop a hint on the possible return of the one-piece outfit she use to wear.
Carmella now looks forward to this week’s WWE pay-per-view show, Elimination Chamber. She will compete alongside Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka, Nikki Cross, and Natalya inside the chamber match, where the winner will get the opportunity to battle Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s championship at WrestleMania 39.
