Cody Rhodes Proves Himself As A Top Draw For WWE

The WWE Universe witnessed the arrival of The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes back to WWE last year in spectacular fashion. Despite missing months of action, Rhodes came back from injury and immediately inserted himself into the main event scene by winning the 2023 Royal Rumble match with a WrestleMania main event match now in sight. Moreover, there is more evidence of Cody Rhodes’ power of being a top attraction for WWE.

The “The American Nightmare”-related parts of WWE RAW on the USA Network have garnered the most attention in recent weeks. Over 2,080,000 people watched the in-ring segment of Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn on Monday. The segment received a 0.53 rating in the important 18-49 demographic, according to Wrestlenomics. Furthermore, there were 1,812,000 viewers per episode on average.

In a similar vein, on February 6th, Cody Rhodes’ critically acclaimed promo conversation with Paul Heyman drew 2,027,000 viewers. This came during the peak of the third hour, when viewership often drops off for WWE television programming.

The audience allegedly increased 11% over the previous quarter as a result of the segment’s strong performance in the ratings. The Rhodes-Heyman and Brock Lesnar-Bobby Lashley portions were the only ones to draw more than 2 million viewers, for comparison.

On social media, there is a belief among supporters that Rhodes might become the new face of the promotion, should he emerge victorious on the Grandest Stage of them All.
