Sami Zayn finally had a change of heart as he turned babyface at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view by smashing a steel chair on Roman Reigns’ back. Things didn’t end well for Sami as The Bloodline decimated The Honorary Uce right after the surprise attack, with Jey Uso being the only exception. Jey left the ring with a confused look on his face, hinting at his exit from the heel faction.

This past week on WWE SmackDown, Sami Zayn issued a warning to Roman Reigns through his “wise man” Paul Heyman. The former Honorary Uce declared that the clock is ticking, and it was about time the Roman Empire came crashing down.

During a backstage segment later on, Sami Zayn also appreciated Jey Uso for turning his back on Roman Reigns and The Bloodline when they attacked the former Honorary Uce. Zayn also informed Jey that he would dethrone Reigns and that there was a way out for Uso. Zayn then acknowledged Jey, and both men shared a quick fist bump.

PW Insider Elite has revealed that there are plans for Sami Zayn to be on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW in order to continue the build to his match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber.

While anything could go down during the three hours, rumors suggest that Zayn could share the ring with 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes tonight at the Barclays Center. An appearance from Roman Reigns is unlikely, but it’s possible for Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso to be involved in a brawl with Zayn and Rhodes.

Also planned for tonight’s RAW is a contract signing between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. In addition, Seth Rollins will appear on Miz TV. In-ring, The Miz will take on Rick Boogs while Bronson Reed will clash with Mustafa Ali. Moreover, a six-woman tag involving all the participants of the women’s Elimination Chamber match is also scheduled.
