Television Presenter Once Thirsted Hard For The Rock

The Rock is one of the most well-known faces on the planet, and he has a charisma that made him a household name. Naturally, many women might want to get closer with The Great One, and this included one television presenter a few years ago.

Davina McCall is best known for hosting several popular television shows in the UK, including “Big Brother,” “Long Lost Family,” and “The Million Pound Drop Live.” Despite not being a lifelong WWE fan, the 55-year-old English television presenter set her sights set on a very unlikely partner when she was younger: The Rock.

Davina McCall’s fantasy of marrying The Rock stemmed from his immense size and strength. She felt that if she wanted to be his wife, she would have to take a giant leap and literally climb up his thigh.

Though Dwayne Johnson is The Scorpion King, Davina McCall was not deterred by his intimidating size. In fact, she seemed to be drawn to it. She envisioned the two of them living happily ever after and dreamed of the day she could become his wife.

In an interview with The Sun in 2018, Davina McCall expressed her admiration for The Great One, noting that she had been continuously sending him messages on Twitter.

“I think Dwayne Johnson is hardworking, gives more than is expected, funny . . . I want to meet him. I’m literally sending him messages all the time, I’m thinking ‘persist, persist! He’s so big, I’d have to climb up his thigh. I just think he’s a nice guy, a really nice guy, great, positive energy. I have a blue tick next to my name so I’m sort of thinking, ‘Do you think Dwayne Johnson is going to look at his tweets and go, ‘Oh hang on, there’s a blue tick from a British girl, I’m gonna click on her. And oh, she seems like a nice person, I’m going to answer her’?’ He hasn’t yet.”

Davina McCall has received numerous awards and accolades for her work in television. She is considered one of the most popular and well-known television personalities in the United Kingdom.

“I think The Rock seems like, and it’s not that I want to marry him, well, I do actually want to marry him, he seems like the nicest guy.”

Davina McCall split from her husband of 17 years, Matthew Robertson, in 2017 and has since been dating celebrity hairdresser Michael Douglas. In 2021, McCall revealed that she and Douglas had made an agreement not to talk about their relationship and that they had recently moved in together.
