Thunder Rosa remains one of the best female pro wrestlers in the industry right now. Unfortunately, Rosa has not been seen on AEW television for a long time due to a severe back injury. That being said, Rosa has been doing Spanish commentary at the desk while she recuperates from her injury.
Thunder Rosa had to withdraw from AEW All Out due to a back injury, but she was still the AEW Women’s Champion during her absence. However, she was eventually forced to forfeit the AEW Women’s Championship after Jamie Hayter won the interim title by defeating Toni Storm at AEW Full Gear.
The former AEW Women’s Champion has been working hard rehabbing her injuries and clearly, she is feeling much better now. She still appears backstage at shows despite her injury hiatus.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Thunder Rosa was part of the Spanish commentary team on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, while she recovers from her injury.
“Rosa was back at TV this week but didn’t perform in a match or angle. She did Spanish language commentary.”
Thunder Rosa is expected to make her much-anticipated return to the ring in AEW soon. The exact date of her comeback is yet to be announced, leaving fans eagerly waiting to see her in action once again. The professional wrestling community is eager to see what the future holds for Rosa, as she continues to make her mark in the industry.
