Sami Zayn has been part of the WWE family for almost a decade now and has consistently improved himself at every turn. Zayn has also managed to turn every single gimmick into pure gold, including his latest one concerning The Bloodline. In fact, he sent a defiant message about his identity ahead of SmackDown this week.
Following Roman Reigns’ successful title defense against Kevin Owens at The Royal Rumble, he and The Bloodline brutalized Kevin Owens. Reigns then ordered Sami Zayn to hit Kevin Owens with a chair. Instead, Zayn betrayed Reigns and hit him right across the back.
Immediately after this, Sami Zayn was utterly decimated by The Bloodline, except for Jey Uso, who left the scene and wanted no part in it. The storyline continued afterwards on Friday Night Smackdown last week.
Sami Zayn shared a picture of himself in his new merch in a new post on Instagram. Zayn made it clear that he is happy with his own identity.
My name is my name.
Roman Reigns will be defending his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Sami Zayn at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. We will have to wait and see how the storyline will progress, as we head towards WrestleMania 39.
