Rhea Ripley came into her own after joining the Judgment Day faction, and it seems that her star is going to continue rising. She wasn’t around this week for RAW, but there is a very good reason for that absence.
It was previously reported that Rhea Ripley was with family this week, but it turns out she took quite a trip to make that reunion happen. The Nightmare flew all the way to Australia for that meetup.
It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rhea Ripley went to Australia to see her family. After all, due to COVID-19 restrictions, she hadn’t seen her family in years.

Australia was very strict with their COVID-19 policy. They put the whole country on lockdown and didn’t let anyone in without a two-week quarantine. The pandemic worries are a bit better now, and that opened up availability for Rhea Ripley to make a much-needed trip home.
Rhea Ripley will likely be back very soon. After all, she probably has a big mixed tag team match to look forward to at Elimination Chamber. She will also have a huge match ahead of her at WrestleMania 39, after winning the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
