Madcap Moss Earns Intercontinental Title Shot During WWE SmackDown

GUNTHER restored the prestige of the WWE Intercontinental Championship with his classics against the likes of Sheamus and Ricochet. Now, the Ring General knows who his next opponent is.

Tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown featured a fatal-four way match to determine the next challenger for the Intercontinental Championship. Rey Mysterio, Madcap Moss, Karrion Kross, and Santos Escobar fought for the opportunity against the champion GUNTHER.

The champion and the rest of Imperium observed the action from the sky box. Moss, Kross and Escobar were accompanied to the ring by Emma, Scarlett and Zelina Vega respectively.

Santos Escobar took out Karrion Kross with a collision during the closing moments of the match. Madcap Moss took advantage of the opportunity to hit an elbow drop from the top rope on Rey Mysterio, getting the win in the process.

Madcap Moss will challenge GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship next Friday on SmackDown in Canada. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
