JBL’s WWE Status After Baron Corbin Split

JBL tried to take Baron Corbin under his wing, but the former WWE Champion didn’t have much luck. He cut ties with Corbin this week on RAW, and now it seems the Lone Wolf is lonely once again. This also ended yet another great run for JBL.

According to a report from PW Insider, JBL is not going to make any return to WWE programming any time soon. There are no plans to use him in a creative sense from this point on.

We are told that JBL is not scheduled to appear regularly on WWE programming going forward.

We will have to see if things change for JBL, because he was certainly great in his role on WWE television. He brings a veteran aspect to everything he does, and he also added a lot to the Baron Corbin character.

WrestleMania is coming up, and it seems that WWE didn’t need JBL for Baron Corbin. Hopefully, JBL does not stay a stranger with the WWE Universe, because it’s always great to see him.
