Chelsea Green resurfaced back to WWE at last week’s Royal Rumble event and instantly made news for achieving a record, although something that cannot be as remarkable as other accolades. However, upon her arrival at RAW, she bragged about being a star already and hinted at being in touch with the higher-ups. So, it looks like she might just take a complaint about a WWE referee who officiated her first match on RAW.
The Hot Mess lost her debut match on Monday Night RAW against Asuka. That led to Chelsea Green posting on Twitter that the official for her match, Adrian Butler is actually the head referee back in NXT. Moreover, this prompted Green to ask everyone to help her seek out the in charge of NXT to complain about the issue, which she believes was the reason for her loss.
“I’ve just been informed that the referee from Monday night was actually from NXT. If anyone has contact info for the @WWENXT manager, please fwd the deets as he was CLEARLY not properly qualified for this role. cc: @AdrianButlerWWE.”
Chelsea Green’s first run in WWE looked promising with her stint in NXT and a handful of appearances on the main roster before her official call-up. However, Green was released by the company in April 2021.
After being released, Chelsea Green rejuvenated her entire career by performing for IMPACT Wrestling and other independent promotions. This led to some of the most exhilarating performances stamped in her wrestling resume.
With an entire career resurgence, Chelsea Green resigned from WWE and made her return as a surprise entrant in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble. However, she only lasted 5 seconds in the match and set a new record for the least time spent in the Women’s rumble match.
Chelsea Green has made her comeback with a completely different mindset and accomplished background under her belt. It is yet to be seen if she would be able to replicate the same success in WWE that she achieved outside the global juggernaut.
