Impact Wrestling has a spot on AXS TV, because their parent company, Anthem, bought the network. In the process, NJPW was also muscled off the network, but it might not have been a stellar trade. At this point, the former TNA’s viewership is incredibly low.

WOW Women of Wrestling opened their doors once again, and they are currently airing episodes in syndication. The show was picked up for distribution through CBS Media, and that was likely a much better deal than anything AXS TV has to offer.

According to Wrestlenomics, Impact Wrestling’s viewership was more than tripled by WOW Women of Wrestling last week.

Impact Wrestling on AXS TV last week, was watched by 95,000 viewers, with a 0.01 P18-49 rating.

Meanwhile….

Women of Wrestling on January 22 in syndication via CBS Media Ventures, drew 326,000 viewers, with a 0.05 P18-49 rating.

We will have to see if Impact Wrestling can pull things together. It’s unclear how much money they’re making, but it can’t be a ton. They also have a roster full of incredibly talented wrestlers and personalities who deserve to be seen by as many people as possible.

We’ll have to see if AXS TV can repair these ratings, but their premium content tier placement on most cable packages makes it hard to find the former TNA sometimes. At least they have a fan following around the world who can access their streaming site, Twitch, and YouTube content.
