EJ Nduka was signed onto the NXT brand in 2018 where he performed in a handful of house show matches under the name “Ezra Judge”. He was released from the company in 2021. It looks like EJ Nduka is moving forward with rival company AEW as he makes his official debut today.

This week’s edition of AEW Dark will see the debut of former NXT star EJ Nduka. He will be competing in a singles match against rising star Konosuke Takeshita.

The match was pre-taped in January 28th at the Universal Studios in Orlando. It is unknown whether his opponent Takeshita will also be joining AEW.

After his release from WWE in 2021, EJ Nduka signed onto MLW where he competed for two years until his contract expired last month. This left Nduka a free agent who had WWE and many other promotions scrambling for the star.
