El Paso, Texas is getting ready to welcome AEW and Vickie Guerrero with open arms, as the city has bestowed special honors and recognition on the company and Guerrero ahead of AEW’s debut of Dynamite this week.
Vickie Guerrero, a native of El Paso, Texas, has been honored by El Paso County ahead of AEW’s debut in the city. Guerrero was named honorary Ambassador to El Paso and was presented with a special honor from the county commissioners while AEW has been given its own day in the city – Monday, February 6, 2023 – as part of a resolution passed by El Paso County.
Vickie Guerrero has a background in theater and as a dancer for the El Paso Diablos, and she has said that wrestling reunites her with her “second family.” She expressed her gratitude for the honor on Twitter.

She was involved in several high-profile storylines and was a central figure in WWE programming for much of her tenure. Guerrero currently manages Nyle Rose and Marina Shafir in AEW.
