The WWE Superstar formerly known as T-Bar made his return after a 2-year hiatus on the November 22 edition of WWE NXT. Repackaged as Dijak, the big man put the hurt on NXT North American Wes Lee leading to a feud between the two. Dijak made an attempt at Wes Lee’s title during NXT Vengeance Day but it ended with him suffering from both a loss and what appeared to be a serious injury.

Dijak went all out at NXT Vengeance Day, putting on a great show for the fans. However, it was all for naught as he failed at stealing the title from NXT North American Champion Wes Lee. As he lay on the ground following his loss, a gruesome sight was on display for all onlookers. Dijak held out his hand with one finger bent out of shape.
Surprisingly, Dijak evaded a very huge injury. According to Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels during the conference following the event, Dijak’s finger is not broken. Michaels described Dijak’s ordeal as a “modern miracle.”
“Yeah, everybody is good. I announced it at gorilla, it got to be a miracle. It’s not broken.
“We got him x-ray. They said it’s not broken. And so yeah, I guess what you do is you kind of numb it and put it back in place and that’s what’s happening now.
“But it is, again, a modern miracle because we all saw it, it was pretty gnarly looking. But apparently, he’s going to be okay, which is obviously fantastic news for us and him.”
Dijak was unfazed by the whole situation. The big man took to Twitter on the following day showing off his brutalized finger.
It’s great to know that the damage done to Dijak at NXT Vengeance Day was minimal. It remains to be seen how the big man will come back from this minor injury. For more updates stay tuned to Ringside News.
