WWE saw a major shake-up in the wake of Vince McMahon’s first departure from the company in July 2022. Triple H became the head booker and immediately implemented drastic changes to improve the product. Shawn Michaels got a new role under the Triple H regime as well. Now, the two best friends are working to give NXT talent the best-possible exposure outside of WWE.
Recently, Bryan Alvarez reported that WWE has allowed NXT talent to work select independent promotions, with NXT Ivy Nile’s kicking things off in regards to the new partnership next week. The Diamond Mine member will make her debut for Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling next Saturday in Texas.
Reality of Wrestling is taking the roster to the NEXT Level! We are proud to announce that we’ll be working with NXT to bring our fans incredible match ups they can’t see anywhere else Don’t miss the chance to see NXT’s @ivynile_wwe in action on Sat, Feb 11th in Texas City.
The original report implied that NXT talent will be able to work multiple independent promotions. However, this doesn’t appear to be the case because ROW’s official Twitter account has now clarified that the new partnership is exclusive to Booker T’s wrestling promotion.
If said Indie company is owned by @BookerT5x 😂
Booker T commented on the partnership as well, noting he’s excited to merge his NXT favorites with the ROW roster. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
