Lacey Evans Explains Why She Missed WWE SmackDown This Week

That being said, she was absent from Smackdown this week and there was a good reason for that.

WWE had been emphasizing Lacey Evans’ background as a Marine through multiple segments on their shows, building up excitement among fans eagerly awaiting her comeback. The new direction for her character and accompanying storyline have generated a lot of buzz among fans who are eager to see her perform and learn more about her revitalized persona.

Since her return, Lacey Evans has established herself as a formidable wrestler, as demonstrated by her commanding performance on the most recent episode of SmackDown. She easily defeated a local opponent, even using Sergeant Slaughter’s signature finishing move to secure the win.

The WWE Superstar was notably absent from this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Evans took to Twitter and revealed that she took the night off to cheer on her daughter at her gymnastics meet.

Lacey Evans was part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match last week, but was not able to do much before getting eliminated. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Evans.
