Gallus Wins NXT Tag Team Titles During Vengeance Day

Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) ruled the tag team division in NXT UK, where they were the longest-reigning tag team champions. Tonight, the indomitable duo captured the NXT Tag Team Championship.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) put their NXT Tag Team Championship on the line against Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson), Gallus, and Chase U (Andre Chase and Duke Hudson) in a fatal-four way match at Vengeance Day tonight.

The match contained plenty of action. All participants involved in the match up entertained the NXT Universe with great spots. At one point during the match, Duke Hudson got slammed into the announcer’s desk by the Gallus Boys.

The closing moments of the match saw Kingston got hit with Pretty Deadly’s finisher. Xavier Woods prevented Elton Prince and Kit Wilson from entering the ring. Woods tried to take out Mark Coffey, but got caught in the middle of the landing by Wolfgang. Gallus won the match after hitting Woods with their tag team finisher.

The New Day had originally defeated Pretty Deadly for the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Deadline on December 10, 2022. The tag team titles were prominently featured on the main roster as well.
