Adam Cole had all the momentum in the world after debuting in AEW last year. Fans had a lot of expectations from him, but his run in AEW turned out to be very underwhelming for some. He came back to AEW recently but is still not fully recovered yet for an in-ring return.

Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door, despite being injured before the match. The match led to him suffering a concussion as well, and he has yet to make his return to in-ring competition yet. He actually rushed back from a concussion, so he could wrestle in that match.

Following a very long hiatus, Adam Cole returned to AEW on the January 11th episode of AEW Dynamite. Cole addressed his health issues and cut a wonderful promo, ensuring fans that he will return.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Adam Cole talked about his road to recovery and commented on how his health is. Cole revealed that he still has some time to go before making an in-ring return.

”I still have a little ways to go until I get to a point where I think I’m ready to rock and roll as far as going to the ring and having a 35-45 minute match. But compared to even two in a half to three months ago, I feel fantastic, I feel really good.”

We will have to wait and see when Adam Cole will be able to compete inside the squared circle again. After all, fans are eagerly waiting to see Cole duke it out with the best of the best in AEW again.
