The Beast Incarnate returned to WWE television during RAW is XXX last week and cost Bobby Lashley his United States Championship match against Austin Theory, making it clear their feud was far from over.
Due to this, Bobby Lashley returned the favor at the Royal Rumble. Brock Lesnar then had a brief confrontation with GUNTHER during the men’s Royal Rumble match before Bobby Lashley came out and eventually eliminated Brock Lesnar.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Brock Lesnar’s future matches. Meltzer noted that WWE could still very well have Lesnar square off against GUNTHER in the future.
Chamber, and then Lashley causes Brock to lose to GUNTHER in Montreal, yes he could do that. The only thing I was told is that Lesnar is not facing GUNTHER at WrestleMania. That doesn’t mean he’s not facing him at all, they did that stare down for a reason. I’m presuming that, well I mean we’ll see, they could go with Lashley and build it to like a big stip match for WrestleMania, coming off of Montreal too.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will be booking Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar’s feud in the coming weeks. After all, WrestleMania 39 is only a little over two months away now.
