The Four Horsewomen of WWE consists of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley. On the other hand, the Four Horsewomen of MMA consists of Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler. For a long time, fans wondered if the two factions would ever face each other, but it never happened. In fact, it seems Vince McMahon was never on board with the feud.
When Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke made their way to WWE, fans firmly believed that a match between the two groups would finally become a reality. However, it never happened, as Rousey left WWE after WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Ronda Rousey came back to WWE last year, but Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke were out of WWE by then. Fans still remain disappointed with the fact the Feud never happened.
While speaking on the Public Enemies Podcast, former WWE writer Chris Dunn revealed that Vince McMahon was never on board with the feud.
I don’t think Vince was ever on board with it,” Dunn said. “I think others in the company were. I think it probably could’ve ended up happening eventually, but it wasn’t anything ever really on the docket. I think some people really wanted it to happen and build towards it, but I feel like if everyone was still with the company now, it definitely would’ve.
Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey remain with WWE, while Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke are out of the company. We have to wonder whether the match between the two groups will end up happening somewhere down the line.
