The WWE Universe is still feeling the effects of this past’s weekend Royal Rumble event. The annual WWE pay-per-view saw the return of various superstars during the 30-person over-the-top-rope battle royal. One of the most exciting returns that got the fans on their feet was to see the Rated-R Superstar Edge comeback after months, alongside his wife Beth Phoenix. However, Edge was recently busted on RAW for a slightly Rated-R moment.

The RAW after the Royal Rumble saw Edge and Beth Phoenix fend off the Judgment Day faction as Finn Balor battled Cody Rhodes in the main event. As they cleared the field, a fan photo posted by Edge on Instagram showed that his excitement to lay his enemies led him to grab his wife’s backside, living up to his Rated-R superstar moniker.

“Ok busted. Sue me. But to be fair the nickname is Rated R Superstar.”

Edge had been feuding with The Judgment Day, ever since the group turned on their original leader. The former 11-time World champion has been trying to get the upper hand on them at every chance he got.

The Rated-R superstar was last seen at WWE Extreme Rules competing against Finn Balor in an ‘I Quit match.’ Edge had to utter those words to save his wife, Beth Phoenix from a heinous attack by Rhea Ripley. However, Ripley anyhow went forward with it, laying out The Glamazon for good measure.

The couple disappeared from the WWE television programming for months, while Judgment Day continued their path of destruction on RAW. However, Edge resurfaced back as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, going right after the members and chasing them to the entrance area.

Rhea Ripley once again interjected herself to save her Judgment Day cohorts. Then The Eradicator was speared on the ramp by a returning Beth Phoenix to save her husband and avenge the attack from months ago. It looks like both sides will have a lot more encounters as the road to WrestleMania has kicked off to a rocky start.

We will have to see where this leads, but it appears that Elimination Chamber could have a big mixed tag team match.
