The weeks of rumors and speculations turned out to be true, as Chelsea Green returned to WWE after nearly two years. The Hot Mess had been away from the company to develop herself as an in-ring competitor. However, it looks like Chelsea has a little problem with accepting the fact that she is now the holder of an embarrassing Royal Rumble record on her first night back.

Chelsea Green’s first night back did not turn out to be quite well. According to PW Insider, Green broke the record for fastest rumble elimination at 5 seconds last night at the event. Furthermore, it is also reported that Chelsea apparently does not agree with it and has complained about it in an upcoming promo that is filmed. So, this will likely play into her Karen character.
“They are pushing that Chelsea Green broke a record for fastest elimination (5 seconds) last night. She filmed a post-match promo backstage where she complained about it and said she was going to “report” everyone involved.”
Chelsea Green returned to the global giant at last night’s WWE Royal Rumble event as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Rumble match. As mentioned, she entered the match, only to be eliminated by the eventual winner Rhea Ripley in mere seconds.
Chelsea Green started in WWE back in 2018 with a handful of appearances. This was before becoming an official competitor in the developmental territory, NXT, where she became a top prospect.
Even before her official main roster call-up in 2020, Chelsea Green made a few appearances at WWE’s flagship shows and pay-per-views. However, her main roster stay was cut short when Chelsea Green was released in April 2021.
The Hot Mess went on to improve herself as an in-ring competitor in IMPACT Wrestling and other independent promotions. Moreover, rumors began swirling months ago that Chelsea Green was on her way back to WWE.
