The road to WrestleMania 39 had a rocky yet surprising start, that saw the exile of Sami Zayn from The Bloodline and himself and Kevin Owens facing a massive beatdown at the hands of Roman Reigns’ family. While The Bloodline left both Zayn and KO in a pile of heap, a WWE official recently dropped a photo that showed both following the aftermath.

After weeks of facing internal cracks among the Bloodline questioning Sami Zayn’s loyalty, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns summoned him to his ‘Tribal Court.’ While Zayn was declared not guilty, Reigns, however, claimed that Sami would have to go through one final test at the Royal Rumble event.

The event featured Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal championship against Kevin Owens. The Tribal Chief opted to have only Sami Zayn and Paul Heyman escort him to the ring, stating that it was Sami’s night.

A highly-intense title bout saw Roman Reigns spearing Kevin Owens to retain the title. Following his win and with the arrival of the rest of the Bloodline members, Kevin Owens found himself being subjected to a heinous beatdown by them.

The finality saw Roman Reigns ordering Sami Zayn to take out Kevin Owens with a steel chair. However, Zayn could not go through with it and instead hit Reigns with the chair. This led to The Bloodline decimating The Honorary Uce and leaving him destroyed next to his best friend, Kevin Owens. WWE Official Jessika Carr recently dropped a photo on Twitter of both superstars being helped to the back following the brutal assault.

The end of the beatdown also saw Jey Uso walking out on The Bloodline. It is yet to be seen how this story unfolds as the road to WrestleMania has begun with many questions to be answered.
