WWE Changed Mandate About NXT Talent In Royal Rumble Match This Year

The WWE’s Royal Rumble event is one of the most eagerly-anticipated events of the year, and fans have many things to look forward to. With a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the event, it is one of the most popular events of the year. The company is clearly changing up a lot of things for the Royal Rumble and this includes bringing in NXT talent for the event.

The excitement is certainly in the air as fans continue to speculate as to what kind of surprises are in store for them during Men’s as well as Women’s Royal Rumble matches.

Last year’s Royal Rumble event was a very disappointing one for many fans as both the Men’s, as well as Women’s Royal Rumble matches did not have any sort of surprise and no NXT talent either.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, WWE used to have a strict mandate about not using NXT talent during the Royal Rumble. That being said, the company has changed the mandate for this year’s event.

Last year there was a strict decree to not use NXT talent in the Royal Rumble. We’ve not heard if that’s the case for this year.

That being said, NXT women talent are still waiting to hear about the WWE Royal Rumble match. We will have to wait and see what kind of surprises the company has in store for fans this week. After all, the Royal Rumble is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated events of the year.
