Bray Wyatt shocked the entire WWE Universe after resurfacing back to the company following his release in 2021. While his first exit from the company was even more shocking, it came at the hands of backstage differences with the management. However, Wyatt recently detailed the differences between the old regime and the current one led by Triple H.
After a failed stint as Husky Harris, Bray Wyatt was repackaged as a cult leader in 2012 and began his ascend to the top as a bonafide star on the WWE main roster. His in-ring acumen and creative mind have made him one of the biggest WWE superstars of this era.
However, shockwaves were sent across the landscape as Bray Wyatt was let go from WWE in July 2021. Bray Wyatt stayed away from the wrestling world for almost a year, pursuing other projects. But it was finally at the end of the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view in October 2022 that Bray Wyatt emerged from the shadows and returned to WWE.
Although Bray Wyatt has begun his second coming in WWE, it has been evident that Wyatt’s first release from the company came due to creative differences with the management and especially Vince McMahon, cited as difficult to work with.
Wyatt recently elaborated on the differences between the regime led by McMahon and current leader, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H claiming that everything happens organically under his management. He spoke about this during an interview with Out of Character with Ryan Satin.
“This is different now. It’s more of a free flow. Everything that happens now is organic and I don’t know if you can tell, you know, from a television standpoint as much. I think you can. But now it’s like, when things happen, they happen in the moment, you know? It’s not preparation. It’s not all this hoopla surrounding it and there’s not all these rules. It’s kind of, things are just happening that is the genius of Triple H.”
Bray Wyatt is known to have certain say regarding his current creative direction in WWE. He is set to battle LA Knight in the first-ever “Mountain Dew Pitch Black match” at this Saturday’s Royal Rumble event.
