Kenny Omega started off his AEW journey after he left NJPW. At the time, there was some thought that he might go to WWE, but all that changed when it was revealed that Omega was an EVP of the company. He’s been off television for a couple of weeks in recent memory, but there is a very good reason for that.

Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks took several weeks off television after their Brawl Out confrontation with CM Punk. He wrestled a seven-match series against the Death Triangle, and that was lauded by fans. Those same fans have wondered why Omega wasn’t around for the past week weeks.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Kenny Omega has been off television for a few weeks, because of visa issues. This caused him to miss the last few episodes of AEW Dynamite. There is hope that he will be in Daytona on February 1st, but there is no guarantee that’s happening.

Kenny Omega will likely be back, but it might take some time to clear up this paperwork issue. Hopefully, Tony Khan and company can fix this problem sooner than later, because Omega is still a marquee name for AEW’s television show.
