WWE’s Royal Rumble event is coming up on Saturday, and there are a lot of options as WWE prepares to set the landscape for WrestleMania 39. The rumor mill is churning at full-strength, but things are already settled within the company regarding who will win the two marquee matches.
A tenured member of the creative team confirmed to Ringside News that, “the Rumble was decided several weeks ago.” Ringside News also exclusively reported on January 14th that WWE has decided on their WrestleMania card.
Ringside News also exclusively shut down any narrative that WWE doesn’t have confidence in their current roster. There is absolutely no truth to that. There is also no truth to the idea that WWE doesn’t know who will win the two big Royal Rumble matches.
Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley are currently the two most likely winners for the Royal Rumble matches. That does not mean WWE has that in their plans, but the oddsmakers are certainly leaning that direction.
We will have to see who ends up pointing at the WrestleMania sign after winning the over-the-top-rope matches, but WWE already made that decision. Now, fans will just get to tune in and see how Triple H and his crew starts the road to WrestleMania.
The Royal Rumble will take over the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas this Saturday. Anything can happen in pro wrestling, but it seems WWE has a plan that they’re going with. We will have full coverage every step of the way right here at Ringside News.
