Bray Wyatt made his highly-anticipated return to WWE at the 2022 Extreme Rules premium live event. Bray came back an entirely different person, but it appears that he’s finally going back to his roots.
Bray Wyatt might just be one of the most complex characters going on in WWE today. He is currently involved in a feud with LA Knight. The two are set to collide in a “Pitch Black Match” at Royal Rumble this Saturday.
WWE will drop Bray Wyatt’s full interview with Ryan Satin tomorrow. The company shared a sneak peek at the conversation on Twitter. Bray shed light on his relationship with the late Brodie Lee. He also talked about whether or not The Fiend will come back in the foreseeable future.
“The Fiend died that day in Tampa, Florida, at WrestleMania, to me. The Fiend is not just a goof in a mask, like people think. That’s just ridiculous (laughs). To me, it’s so much more where all these things come from; how they molded me as a human being. But he died that day, to me, and it can’t never be again.”
As previously reported, WWE pegged Bray Wyatt in a very high spot internally after his return. The Eater of Worlds is considered the number one babyface on SmackDown.
Bray Wyatt brought back the Firefly Fun House last week on the blue brand. The segment led to fans speculating the return of The Fiend as well. It remains to be seen if the WWE Universe will witness the return of the masked man at the Royal Rumble this Saturday.
