WWE produced a solid edition of RAW this past Monday. The company celebrated RAW’s 30 years in the business by hosting the likes of The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle and other legends of the past. Given his immense contributions to the business, fans wanted to see Mick Foley on the 30th anniversary of Monday Night RAW. Unfortunately, Mick didn’t appear and that led to speculations he may have heat with WWE.
Mick Foley recently took to Facebook and answered why he didn’t show up on the 30th anniversary edition of RAW this past Monday. The former multi-time champion revealed WWE did invite him to RAW Is XXX. However, he chose not to attend because of his extremely hectic schedule.
“I was definitely asked by WWE, and politely declined due to the hectic nature of my schedule. If I had not taken the past couple days off – and instead traveled to Philadelphia for the show – I would be on the road for 32 consecutive days. I have been working on a new project – which has been great fun, but also requires a lot of travel – and I just really needed a couple days off to relax and see my wife and children.”
Mick Foley wasn’t the only notable absence from the show. The Bella Twins didn’t appear as well. Nikki and Brie did fly Northeast this weekend, but eventually decided not to appear on RAW XXX. This was due to differences over their booking on the show.
