Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite promises another night of exciting action as Darby Allin defends his TNT Championship against Buddy Matthews. Bryan Danielson’s quest to become the number one contender continues as he faces Brian Cage tonight. The complete match card for the show is as follows:

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Ricky Starks & Action Andretti

Chris Jericho’s theme song plays and he comes out with Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia. Action Andretti’s theme song plays and he comes out next. Ricky Starks’ theme song plays next and he walks to the ring.

The match starts with Action and Sammy in the ring. Sammy goes for the superkick but is caught. Both men have a back-and-forth stalemate. Sammy with a superkick to Andretti.

Guevara attacks Action in the corner. Andretti fights back with a head scissors. Guevara hits the corkscrew dropkick sending Action outside. Sammy goes outside and attacks Action.

He then dives onto Action Andretti. He sends Action in the ring. Sammy sets Action on the top rope and goes for the hurricanrana but Andretti lands on his feet and hits the Spanish fly. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Both men tag out. They exchange strikes in the ring.

Starks with a clothesline. Jericho goes for a dropkick but is caught and catapulted into the turnbuckle. Starks walks the ropes but Sammy hits a cutter from the top rope. Cover! 1…2..kick out.

Jericho with a back suplex. Jericho tags out and Sammy hits the body slam. He tags out and Jericho with a bodyslam. Jericho tags out they knock with down with the shoulder tackle.

Sammy climbs the top rope and goes for a dive but Ricky gets his legs up. Starks tags out and Action attack Sammy and Jericho. He hits a backbreaker and neckbreaker combo on both men. He dives onto Jericho and then onto Sammy. Action sends Sammy in the ring and Ricky hits the tornado DDT and Action hits the moonsault. Cover! 1…2….kick out.

Both men go for the crossbody and slam into each other. They tag out and Ricky spears Jericho. Cover! 1…..2…Sammy makes the save. Jericho goes for a codebreaker but is countered into the lager bomb. Cover! 1…2…kick out. He tags out and Action dives onto Jericho.

Jericho tags out and Sammy with a jumping knee. Hee picks Action but her escapes and hits the enzuigiri. He hits the ropes but Jericho stops him. Ricky sends Jericho into the ring post.

Action with a reverse hurricanrana and follows it with the hanging neckbreaker. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Ricky hits the Rochambeau on the outside.

Garcia hits Andretti with the bat as Sammy hits the GTH for the win

TNT Championship Open Challenge: Darby Allin (c) vs. Buddy Matthews

Buddy Matthews theme song plays and he walks out to the ring with Julia Hart. Darby Allin’s theme song plays and he comes out next.

The match begins and Buddy hits a jumping knee kick sending Darby outside the ring. Buddy attacks him and sends him into the turnbuckle. Darby goes for the suicide dive but is caught and slammed into the apron and then the barricade. He goes for a powerbomb into the barricade but is countered into a hurricanrana.

Darby sends him into the barricade. Darby is tripped by Buddy. Buddy hits the meteora on Allin. Cover! 1…2..kick out. Darby with a stunner. He climbs the top rope and hits the coffin drop on Matthews on the outside. He sends Buddy into the ring.

The lights go out. When it comes on Brody King and Malakai Black appear but they are attacked by Ortiz. Buddy hits the powerbomb. Cover! 1..2…kick out. Buddy with a stretch on Darby.

Darby transitions into the sleeper hold. Buddy does the cannon ball sending Darby into the turnbuckle. Buddy attacks Darby. Buddy with a the Texas Cloverleaf but Darby gets to the rope.

Buddy climbs the top rope but is stopped by Darby who scratches his back and bites him. Buddy slips away and picks up Darby who is punching him and hits the reverse hurricanrana sending him outside. Darby then sends him into the barricade.

He sends Buddy into the ring and goes for the crossbody and follows with the crucifix but couldn’t get the win. Both men exchange strikes. Buddy hits the buckle bomb and follows it with the stomp. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Buddy goes for a pump handle but Darby escapes and hits the code red. Cover! 1…2….kick out. He climbs the top rope but is stopped by Buddy who goes for superplex but is countered into the scorpion death drop. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Darby climbs the top rope and hits the coffin drop for the win.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he is about to interview Darby Allin. Joe is on the titantron who says he is the true king of television and he is going to take everything from Darby. He says he will not be stopped by Darby and says winning the TNT Championship was his greatest mistake.

Ethan Page & Matt Hardy vs. Junglehook

Matt Hardy’s music plays and he comes out but Ethan Page says they played the wrong music. He says he is the star of the show but Cassidy doesn’t agree. Page then asks to play his music. Hook’s theme song plays and he comes out next. Jungleboy’s theme song plays next and he walks to the ring.

Jack and Matt start the match. Page tags himself in. jack with a hurricanrana. Matt tags in and they have standoff. Jack Perry dives onto Page. He is tripped by Page. Matt sets him on the rope.

Page tags in and they hit the double suplex. Matt tags in and continues to attack Jack in the corner. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Matt attacks the arm of Jack and hits the flying arm bar. Cover! 1…2….kick out. He tags out.

Page continues to attack Jack and targets the arm. Page tags out. Matt continues the attack and tags out. Jack fights back and tags out. Hook attacks Page with a clothesline. He hits the T-Bone suplex. He tags out.

Matt tags in and hits the side effect on Jack. He goes for the twist of fate but Page asks to tag in and Matt tags him in and he goes for the twist of fate but Jack counters into the snare trap and Matt is distracted by Hook as Page taps out.

Winner: Junglehook

The Acclaimed and the Gunns are at therapy. Billy asks how they became like this. His sons accused him of treating them second. Anthony Bowens calls them a piece of shit. He says they couldn’t control their jealousy after Billy gave them attention. He then says they wouldn’t have been champions. The guns say they were supposed to be friends.

Billy says he gets both points and says his sons took the easy way out. He asks what they want. Austin and Colten say they want the tag titles.

Hangman Page is interviewed backstage and he says that he looks back to Ohio where it started with Moxley. He then says he wants to try to do the impossible and knock out Moxley in Ohio.

Wheeler Yuta interrupts him and challenges him to a match at Rampage. Hangman says he will see Yuta on Friday.

Brian Cage vs. Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson’s music hit and he walks to the ring. Brian Cage’s music hit and he comes out to the ring with Prince Nana.

The match starts and Cage showcases his strength. Bryan attacks the knee of Cage. Cage attacks Bryan in the corner. Bryan fights back and attacks Cage in the corner. Bryan with a rollup and transitions into the elbow strikes. Cage picks up Bryan but he escapes and goes for the Labelle lock. Cage gets to the rope.

Bryan with a sliding dropkick and a suicide dive on Cage. He then climbs the top rope and dives onto Cage. Bryan sends Cahe into the ring and goes for a dive but Cage escapes and throws Bryan into the turnbuckle. He then hits the combination strikes and a German suplex.

Cage with a back suplex on the apron. Cage attacks Bryan by sending him into the barricade. He sends Bryan into the ring. Cage continues to target the arm of Bryan. Bryan fights back and kicks Cage.

Bryan goes for a moonsault but is caught and hit with a shoulder breaker. He then hits the suplex on Danielson. He then hits the German suplex. Cage sets Bryan on the second turnbuckle and goes for the power bomb but Bryan fights back.

He hits the dropkick to Cage. Bryan with a superplex. Bryan with the yes kicks. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Bryan with the stomps but Brian counters and lifts him up. But Bryan goes for the ankle lock and then the German suplex.

Bryan goes for the busaiku knee but is caught with a buckle bomb. He goes for it again but it rolled up for the win.

Winner: Bryan Danielson

Following the match, Cage attacks him and plants him to the mat. MJF comes out. He takes a chair and hands it to Cage who wraps the chair around the arm of Bryan and sends him into the post. He then sends Bryan into the ring.

MJF attacks Danielson. Cage places a chair around the arm of Bryan but Konosuke Takeshita comes out and attacks Brian Cage with a jumping knee.

*Commercial break*

Renee Paquette is backstage and the Doctor Samson says that he can’t. wrestle because he has a separated shoulder. Bryan says no one can stop him from wrestling. He says MJF is afraid because he will expose him in their match.

Toni Storm vs. Ruby Soho

Toni Storm’s theme song plays and she comes out to the ring. Ruby Soho’s music hit and she comes out to the ring.

The match begins and Toni escapes from the ring. She gets back in and throws Ruby to the mat. Both women exchange strikes and Toni hits a high boot. Soho with a combination elbows in the corner.

Ruby sent to the apron and Storm hits the hip attack sending Ruby to the floor. Storm sends Ruby into the barricade. Soho gets back in the ring and Storm continues the attack.

Storm with a suplex. Cover! 1….kick out. Storm with a full. Nelson but Soho escapes and slams her into the second buckle. She then hits the back suplex. Ruby with a kick to Storm’s head. Cover! 1…2…kick out.

Soho climbs the top rope and dives but misses. Soho kicks Storm in the face. As Soho is distracted, Storm attacks her and hits the hip attack and the tornado DDT. Cover! 1….2…..kick out.

Britt Baker’s theme song plays and she comes out. Soho hits destination unknown for the win.

Winner: Toni Storm

MJF is backstage and he says the some people can’t control their emotions. He says mocks Takeshita. He says he is very talented but he isn’t smart. He asks Takeshita to stay out of his business.

He says that Bryan is going to keep on marching towards their match. He says that the AEW World Title is his reason to get out of bed every day. He says Bryan has enough but he needs to take away from. He then says bad things happen to people who mess with him.

He says he will call Timothy Thatcher to face Bryan Danielson next week.

Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal

Jay Lethal’s theme song plays and he walks out to the ring.

*Commercial break*

Mark Briscoe’s music hit and he walks out to the ring.

The match begins and they both shake hands. Mark with an arm drag and a body slam. Jay attacks Mark in the corner and Mark returns and they both exchange strikes.

Mark with a lariat in the corner and a kick to Lethal’s face. Lethal with a hip toss. Mark goes hits a neckbreaker. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Both men exchange strikes on the apron and he sends him into the ring. Lethal with a suicide dive.

Lethal with a chin lock. Lethal with a snapmare and then a dropkick. Cover! 1…2…..kick out. He goes back to a chin lock. Mark fights back and climbs the top rope and delivers a kung fu chop.

He hits the lariat in the corner and sets him up on the rope before throwing him to the mat. Cover! 1…2….kick out. Lethal hits the lethal combination. Cover! 1…2…kick out. Lethal with an enzuigiri. He then plants Mark. Lethal with lethal injection but Mark rolls outside the ring.

Lethal places him on the timekeeper’s table and he climbs the top rope but is stopped and Briscoe with a blockbuster. He sets Lethal on the table and climbs the top rope and hits the diving elbow on Lethal through the table.

He sends Lethal in the ring. Cover! 1…2…..kick out. Lethal goes for Lethal injection but is caught with the lariat. Mark then hits the Jay Driller for the win.

Winner: Mark Briscoe

Following the match, the locker room comes out to show their respect for Jay Briscoe.
