WWE celebrated the 30th anniversary of RAW at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA last night. The company pulled out all the stops to make it a night to remember, as the company wanted to ensure fans would get something to be happy about. In fact, the show ended up setting a huge record.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, fans were greeted with a wave of nostalgia, especially those who had been watching WWE’s flagship show since the very start.
WWE has officially announced that the show has set an impressive Monday Night Raw record. Last night’s Raw 30 show ended up getting the highest domestic gate in the entire 30 year history of RAW.
Raw [30] was a defining night for the red brand and delivered the highest domestic gate in the history of Monday Night Raw.
A sell-out crowd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia witnessed Sami Zayn’s Tribal Court, an iconic moment shared between Bray Wyatt and The Undertaker, a joining of DX and Kurt Angle, the return of The Beast Brock Lesnar and much more.

WWE also failed to deliver on the Philly Street Fight between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory. We will have to wait and see whether the company will be carrying on with this momentum.
