The 30th anniversary of the longest-running weekly episodic television show in history, Monday Night RAW, is officially in the books. Tensions were running between Bloodline member Sami Zayn and The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns for weeks. With Reigns doubting Zayn’s loyalty, he asked the Honorary Uce to present himself in his court on RAW XXX.
The Tribal Court began with the prosecution led by the Wise Man Paul Heyman, who berated Sami Zayn with evidence, claiming that he was not true to The Bloodline and its members.
Sami Zayn, being emotionally incapacitated by Paul Heyman’s comments, refused to present his defense in front of The Tribal Chief. Just as Roman Reigns ordered his Enforcer Solo Sikoa to take out Zayn, Jey Uso stepped up and presented evidence on Sami’s behalf that proved his loyalty, for now.
The Tribal Court segment replaced the originally planned Roman Reigns Acknowledgement ceremony for RAW XXX. According to PW Insider, the entire segment was produced by WWE Hall of Famer Michael Hayes.
Michael Hayes’ creative input surely made it a highlight for the special edition of Monday Night RAW. Hayes has worked closely with Roman Reigns throughout his entire Head of the Table storyline, as one of the few people in that creative inner circle.
Meanwhile, Roman Reigns is set to put Sami Zayn through one final test to prove his loyalty at the upcoming Royal Rumble event, as he defends his Undisputed WWE Universal championship against Zayn’s former best friend, Kevin Owens. Only time will tell how this ends, but we will have all the updates you need right here at Ringside News.
