The Undertaker underwent a gimmick change during the 2000s. Taker ditched his Deadman persona for something that was more in line with his real-life personality. He called the gimmick “The American Badass.”

The Undertaker brought back his American Badass gimmick during the 30th anniversary edition of WWE RAW tonight. Taker interrupted LA Knight’s promo at the Wells Fargo Center tonight.

The real-life Mark Calaway made his grand entrance on a motorcycle. Knight left the ring and cut a promo from the outside. He referenced Taker’s comments on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The lights went off and Bray Wyatt appeared from behind, forcing Knight to re-enter the ring. Taker grabbed Knight by the throat for the chokeslam only to throw him toward Bray for a Sister Abigail.

Taker then said something in Bray Wyatt’s ear before he left the ring. Wyatt and Knight will square off in a “Pitch Black Match” at the Royal Rumble premium live event this Saturday.
