Darby Allin has gained a large fan following thanks to his unique look and gimmick. Allin has worked hard to become one of the Four Pillars in the company. He is the current TNT Champion and has been defending it regularly. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that he will be sending his title again on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Darby Allin picked up a huge victory on the first AEW Dynamite of this year, as he became the TNT Champion to close the show. He defeated Samoan Joe to become a 2-time TNT Champion.
Darby has already defended the TNT Championship on three different occasions, beating Mike Bennett and Juice Robinson on Rampage, and Kushida on this week’s Dynamite.
AEW took to Twitter and officially announced that Darby Allin will be putting his TNT Championship on the line against Buddy Matthews of the House Of Black on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.
An open challenge for the TNT Championship has been issued & the match is set for #AEWDynamite LIVE from Lexington THIS WEDNESDAY at 8pm ET/7pm CT on @tbsnetwork where TNT Champ @DarbyAllin will defend the title against #HouseOfBlack’s @snm_buddy !
