WWE saw an influx of new and talented superstars in the last few months. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H went on a signing spree ever since he took control with his latest signee Karl Fredericks making his WWE debut recently.

The high-profile superstar has been a top attraction for New Japan Pro Wrestling between 2018 and 2022. Karl Fredericks also won the coveted Young Lion Cup in 2019, cited as one of his biggest accomplishments in the company.

However, as Karl Fredericks was on his way to ascending to the top of NJPW, the pandemic seemingly derailed his plans. With his contract ending in August 2022, Fredericks instead decided to move on and not renew it.

Karl Fredericks was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in September last year. The news of his signing did not come to light until earlier this month. All the speculations came to an end as Fredericks finally arrived in the WWE landscape.

Karl Fredericks, sporting a look that was different from his NJPW days, made his debut at a recent NXT Live Event, confronting Axiom at the show that took place in Fort Pierce, Florida.

The 32-year-old superstar’s debut looked like an impactful one. However, we will have to wait and see what Karl Fredericks will bring to the WWE table with his in-ring skill and talent that made him a star in Japan.
