WWE Books Tag Team Match & More For SmackDown Next Week

WWE will visit the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas, for the go-home edition of SmackDown for the Royal Rumble next Friday. The company booked several matches and segments for the show.

First, Banger Bros. (Drew McIntyre and Sheamus) will square off against Hit Row (Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis) next week on SmackDown. The Banger Bros and Hit Row picked up the win over The Viking Raiders and Los Lotharios, respectively, in the opening round of tag team title number one contender’s tournament tonight.

Next, Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci) will take on Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro) in the second semi-finals of the tournament. Imperium won their match against the Brawling Brutes tonight. Fantasma, on the other hand, picked up the win against Maximum Male Models.

Karrion Kross will finally get a one-on-one match with Rey Mysterio as well. Kross cut a promo tonight on SmackDown wherein he stated it was brought to his attention by Scarlett that he’ll be stepping in the ring as El Rey. The former NXT Champion declared for the Royal Rumble as well.
