D-Von Dudley was one half of the iconic tag team the Dudley Boyz. The duo are widely considered one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Their incredible matches with the Hardy Boys and Edge & Christian are still talked about to this day.
D-Von Dudley went on to have a successful career. Unlike his half-brother Bully Ray, who still wrestles in Impact Wrestling, D-Von hung up his wrestling boots long ago for a role as a producer in WWE.
After remaining a producer for over six years, D-Von Dudley has announced via Twitter that he is leaving the WWE. He didn’t provide the reason for his departure, but he mentioned that it was the best decision for all parties involved.
“The company (wwe)and I have decided to parted ways, and feel this is the best Decision for all parties it’s been a pleasure and an honor to work with the young talent when bubba as well as everyone over in NXT. As well as working with some of the best producers in the world,
Following the announcement of his departure, a couple of WWE talent reacted by sending heartfelt messages to the WWE Hall of Famer. WWE Superstar Angel Garza called him a “great coach and friend.”
“All the best!!! You are a great coach and friend!! And we both know who you need to thank and you need to give special credits,” wrote Angel Garza.
NXT Star Zoey Stark broke character to thank D-Von for everything. She also stated that she will miss him.
“Thank you for everything! We’ll miss you,” tweeted Zoey Stark.
Fallon Henley also joined in thanking D-Von for everything he has done for the talent. Obviously, D-Von meant a lot to all of the talent he worked with.
“Thank you for everything!”
Up-and-coming NXT Star Dante Chen called it an “absolute pleasure” working with D-Von Dudley.
“It was an absolute pleasure working with you D-von. THANK YOU!”
Even former WWE tag team The Bollywood Boyz had some nice words to say about the WWE Hall of Famer. They have nothing but good things to testify about D-Von’s awesomeness.
“We always appreciated working with you, man. Thanks for everything!”
While D-Von Dudley announced his departure from WWE, he hasn’t spoken his retirement yet. So, maybe he will pop back up in Impact Wrestling or another Indy promotion in the near future, but his days in the ring are likely over. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you similar stories.
