The Hurt Business made a lot of strides during their run in the company as the stable elevated Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin. However, as is the case for many factions in WWE, the faction broke up in 2021 on Monday Night RAW. The company started dropping hints at the faction returning, but it seems that might not be happening just yet.
Even Roman Reigns felt that the faction was broken up too early. They eventually reunited for a brief reunion until they were disbanded. Fans stopped hoping for their return ever since.
Bobby Lashley previously said the breakup ‘hurt his heart.’ In addition to that, Bobby Lashley also promised a Hurt Business reunion. WWE has continued to drop hints regarding the faction’s return on Monday Night RAW in the past couple of weeks.
While speaking on WWE The Bump, former Hurt Business member Shelton Benjamin was asked about the rumors of the faction’s return. Benjamin made it clear that a return has not been confirmed as of yet.
If you ask MVP, maybe. If you ask me and Cedric, we still got some kinks to work out before we can commit to that. Obviously Bobby’s got some things going on of his own, so there’s a lot of moving parts.
Are we interested? Of course. We’re businessmen. We’re listening. But at this point, I can’t confirm that the Hurt Business is gonna get back together.”
Bobby Lashley is set to compete in a huge match on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see whether fans will get to see The Hurt Business reunite once again in the future.
