Donation Page Set Up For Jay Briscoe’s Family After His Tragic Passing

The wrestling world experienced a tragic incident as Jay Briscoe passed away at the age of 38. With the pro wrestling world still mourning this huge loss, a family friend of Briscoe has stepped up to help them.

Jay Briscoe was considered an icon in tag team wrestling. He along with his brother Mark were collectively known as the “Briscoe Brothers.” The duo made a name for themselves around the world, especially in ROH winning their tag team titles on 13 different occasions.

The former ROH World Tag Team champion was involved in a fatal car crash on Tuesday evening when another driver crossed the center line and hit his vehicle head-on. This was confirmed by the Delaware State Police, who are investigating the entire matter.

Jay Briscoe’s daughters, who were with him at the time of the accident, have also suffered fatal injuries from the crash. The wrestling industry came together to offer their condolences to his family, with many superstars and personnel posting heartfelt tributes for Briscoe.

While Jay Briscoe’s family tries to overcome this tragedy and pray for both his daughters’ well-being injured in the crash, one of his friends has decided to help them. A Donation page was set up by Briscoe’s family friend for fans to offer their help for the Pugh family. The description made it clear that this is the only approved donation page for the family.

“On the evening of January 17th, our community and friends across the world were left in shock after the news of the passing of Jamin, a man who made everyone around him a better person. The Pugh family’s world has shifted, and with that there will be many unforeseen expenses. We have set this page up (with approval from the family) to help ease any burden that may arise from this tragedy.

Its been heartwarming to read all the stories of those who interacted with Jamin, and his impact was felt across the world. Please continue to pray for the Pugh family and all of their children.

This is the only campaign that has been approved by the family.”

The Donation page has so far raised $10,307 with a goal of $50,000 to achieve. This donation page was just opened, so they will likely break that goal with ease.
