WWE released a slew of talent from NXT and their main roster under the guise of budget cuts. AQA was one of the many people who received a phone call they never wanted to get about their release. It seems she has moved on entirely at this point.

AEW inked a deal with AQA in February 2022, and she made a few appearances. Sadly, she didn’t have much success before her time with the company was over.

According to Fightful’s paywall, AQA was officially removed from the AEW roster page. This came after her deal expired with the company, and she also announced that she was stepping away from the business.

Former NXT talent AQA has officially been removed from the AEW roster page, and we’re told that her deal is up with the company. She announced she’d be stepping away from wrestling back in July.

AQA made it official that she is leaving pro wrestling, but the door could always be open for her return. AEW provided her with a great opportunity, and she was also very appreciative of her time in Tony Khan’s company.

We’ll have to see what’s next for AQA, but she has a life outside pro wrestling. The grind of being a pro wrestler can also be very taxing, and injuries mount up. Hopefully, she will find a ton of success in whatever venture she takes on next.

What’s your take on this situation with AQA? Sound off in the comments!
