Nick Khan used to share the position of co-CEO with Stephanie McMahon, who recently announced her resignation from WWE after her father brute-forced his way back into the company. It seems Nick Khan is unbothered by Tony Khan or his pro wrestling promotion, which is believed by many to be a worthy competitor to WWE.

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was to usher in a sale. Nick Khan expected this to happen, which he admitted to. This is interesting, because it was rumored that McMahon and Khan had a pre-existing arrangement to sell the company.

Nick Khan appeared on the Bill Simmons Show to discuss a variety of topics. During the interview, Nick was asked about Tony and whether he sees Tony and AEW as a threat, to which he had this to say.

“I don’t feel threatened by anyone on anything,” Khan responded. “It’s just not how I do business. I don’t care what anyone else is doing. I care what we’re doing. And as long as we can have the best product on with the best talent and the best writers, I think we’re going to be in good shape.”

The return of Vince McMahon shook up the whole company. Later on in the interview, Nick also discussed how he thought Vince McMahon was always going to return and take charge of WWE.

Recently, AEW has been suffering from rating drops across its weekly shows. As previously reported, AEW Rampage’s viewership dropped after a small boost.

While the CEO of AEW and WWE both share last names, it’s worth noting that the two are not related. For the latest updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
