Summer Rae may not be taking bumps inside the squared circle anymore, but her presence is surely looming around big promotions lately. The former WWE superstar was recently spotted hanging out backstage at AEW Dynamite this week.

Summer Rae began her wrestling career in WWE, debuting for the company back in 2011. Following her successful stint in NXT working with the likes of future stars like Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair, she made her main roster debut in April 2013, as Fandango’s dance partner.

Fandango and Summer Rae’s onscreen chemistry was widely appreciated by the fans becoming a popular act on WWE television programming. However, she failed to impress the audience with her abilities inside the ring and was released by WWE in October 2017.

The former WWE Diva has stayed away from the world of professional wrestling for a long time, focusing on her career as a model and influencer. However, recently, Summer Rae has made her presence near the squared circle and top promotions.

Summer Rae was first spotted training in the ring with current WWE star Liv Morgan. Right after that, she posted a picture of herself being backstage on the January 4th edition of Monday Night RAW. Moreover, AEW correspondent Renee Paquette recently posted an Instagram story showing herself backstage with Saraya and Summer Rae on this week’s episode of Dynamite.

” @saraya @daniellemoinet.”

The last report on Summer Rae indicated that WWE had no plans to bring her on board as a full-time performer. So it looks like her recent visit to AEW could be for negotiating a contract to join Tony Khan’s promotion and step back into the wrestling world yet again.
