Vince McMahon’s unexpected return to WWE caused a major upheaval in the professional wrestling industry. Fans initially feared that his appointment as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and the subsequent resignation of co-CEO Stephanie McMahon would be detrimental to the company. In fact, Stephanie McMahon was called more caring than her father recently.
According to a recent report by Bodyslam.net, WWE reached a deal to sell the company to Saudi Arabia, which has sparked strong reactions from both fans and professional wrestlers. This news has caused widespread anger, as many have valid concerns about the potential impact of such a transaction.
Of course, the that report of a Saudi sale being near completion was eventually debunked, but it is still speculated that Saudi Arabia is among the potential buyers. In fact, quite a few fans are of the opinion that Stephanie McMahon’s exit may have something to do with the potential sale of the company to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
With Vince McMahon being in charge of the company again, many fans are already fearing the worst. Vince McMahon is not known to be a very caring person at all when it comes to his WWE talent.
While speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt Hardy talked about Stephanie McMahon’s WWE exit. Hardy stated that Stephanie McMahon was much more caring than her father Vince McMahon.
“I mean, I like Stephanie. I always got along good with her, especially the last round when I was there. And I felt like Stephanie was a lot more like Vince than Shane was ever like Vince as far as her business drive, and she knew she had to like, show authority, kind of put her foot down, you know, slapped down on power card, whatever. But she was also compassionate. And I felt like she cared more about the human beings that were there sacrificing so much for her and her family that run the joint, you know. So I feel like she was a little more caring about human beings and their life outside of pro wrestling.”
Stephanie McMahon was also visibly frustrated with Vince McMahon dismantling her team. Her WWE exit also raised flags within the company. She was also thought to be sick of pro wrestling before her resignation. It remains to be seen if Stephanie McMahon returns to her father’s company in the future.
