Kofi Kingston is certainly a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having been a part of WWE for over a decade. He has competed in several memorable matches and won various championships. He has worked under Stephanie McMahon for a long time during his tenure with WWE. That’s why he will truly miss McMahon now that she is gone from WWE.

Vince McMahon’s surprise return to WWE last week led to a series of unexpected events. Fans initially believed that his appointment as a member of the Board of Directors and subsequently the Executive Chairman of WWE would spell disaster for the company. This was further compounded by Stephanie McMahon’s sudden resignation from her position as co-CEO of WWE.

Many fans and professional wrestlers alike were utterly shocked and dumbfounded that Stephanie McMahon would ever end up leaving WWE after giving her life to the company for so many years.

While speaking with CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri for SHAK Wrestling, Kofi Kingston was asked to share his thoughts on Stephanie’s resignation. Kingston made it clear that her presence would be missed.

“I’ve been so lucky to have gotten to know Stephanie very well over the past 15 years, and her passion for the industry is just undeniable. Obviously, it’s a family business, but just listening to her talk, I’m even getting goosebumps thinking about it right now, but going to different events and listening to her talk about the impacts that we’ve made as a company and just her experience going from a youth all the way to an adult, WWE is her life. So she means a lot. She does so much for the company, whether a lot of it gets seen or not. She is part of the lifeblood that allowed the WWE to exist. So her presence will definitely be missed, for sure, but she’s earned the right to retire and enjoy her family life, and I’m happy for her in that sense.”

Stephanie McMahon was also visibly frustrated with Vince McMahon dismantling her team. Her WWE exit also raised flags within the company. She was also thought to be sick of pro wrestling before her resignation. We’ll have to see if Stephanie McMahon makes her WWE comeback one day.
