Toni Storm was once thought to be a big deal in WWE, but things didn’t pan out for her under Vince McMahon’s creative direction. After receiving her release request, Toni Storm landed in AEW, and she’s still looking to gain momentum after her recent AEW Women’s Title loss.

Willow Nightingale is still on a roll in All Elite Wrestling. AEW officially announced the signing of “The Babe With The Power” in October. Willow Nightingale is now set to face Toni Storm on AEW Dynamite next week.

Willow Nightingale immediately stepped up to the plate, racking up an impressive string of victories with only one loss on her record upon her arrival. She and Ruby Soho tagged in the main event of AEW Rampage on January 13. They faced off against Jericho Appreciation Society members Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S. in a brutal Street Fight.

The fight proved to be a bloody one, as the competitors unleashed their ruthless aggression on each other, wielding garbage cans, chairs, kendo sticks, and even thumbtacks. In the end, a crimson-covered Ruby Soho landed a massive Destination Unknown the tacks to finish Tay Melo off and win the game for her team.

AEW President Tony Khan shared another special announcement for Willow Nightingale after her hard-fought victory with Soho. Khan took to Twitter to announce that her next match is scheduled for Dynamite on January 18th in Fresno, California. Nightingale is set to fight former AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm this week, which should be a highly-anticipated match.

After the biggest win of her skyrocketing career in tonight’s #AEWRampage Street Fight main event, Willow Nightingale fights her dream opponent Toni Storm on Wednesday!

This is the first time that Willow Nightingale will compete against Toni Storm in singles competition. Last year, the two worked together in two separate six-woman tag team matches. In early October, Nightingale and Storm teamed up with Athena to defeat Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford, and Serena Deeb.
