Vince McMahon’s shocking return to WWE last week led to a series of events that absolutely no one could have predicted. In fact, fans believed that Vince McMahon becoming a part of the Board Of Directors and subsequently the Executive Chairman of WWE meant certain doom for the company. This was done prior to Stephanie McMahon suddenly resigning from her post as co-CEO of WWE. It seems Renee Dupree believes Stephanie McMahon was sick of wrestling before resigning from WWE.

According to a report from Bodyslam.net, WWE allegedly reached an agreement to sell the company to Saudi Arabia. This news has angered many fans, who are against the idea of the company being sold to Saudi Arabia.

However, that report of a Saudi Arabia sale was eventually debunked, but it is still speculated that Saudi Arabia is among the potential buyers, if nothing else. Some fans have also theorized that Stephanie McMahon’s departure may have something to do with the potential sale of the company to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While speaking on an episode of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE Superstar Renee Dupree talked about Stephanie McMahon’s WWE resignation. Dupree stated that he believes Stephanie McMahon was sick of wrestling before resigning from WWE.

“I think everything they do is strategic and part of a big plan, you know what I mean. The heat was on. He had to take away then waited ’till the heat died off, then went back. Maybe Stephanie just wants to be a mom and just wants to retire and she’s probably sick of wrestling. Could be.”

Vince McMahon’s return to WWE was to faciliate a sale. That being said, some have speculated that Stephanie McMahon stepping down from her position in WWE was to help move along possible Saudi Arabian interest.

Stephanie McMahon was also visibly frustrated with Vince McMahon dismantling her team. Her WWE exit also raised flags within the company. Stephanie also revealed that she underwent surgery on her ankle this week. That being said, we’ll have to see if Stephanie McMahon returns to her father’s company in the future.
